Chop Chop was born during the Katrina storm in October 2005 that hit New Orleans. Chop Chop had lost his mommy and siblings during the storm. Chop Chop made his own baby nest out of dirty mechanic rags that he placed under a new car in a dealer car lot where all of the new cars were totally detsroyed because of the storm. Katrina was a year old when Katrina hit New Orleans. She became lost in the storm and then became stuck in a phone company power box after technicians cleaned the box out but did not know Katrina had snuck in the boxbefore they shut the box's door. Katrina's pitiful cries alerted law enforcement personnel who adopted her as their mascot. Katrina and Chop Chop were scared and skinny to the point of bones showing through skin. Both were transported by vehicle to SCOOTER's PLACE after a temporary work assignment in New orleans had ended. After months of gaining weight, the hard work began when the flashbacks, the PTSD nightmares for both began. Both would cry out in the middle of the night, their eyes not focusing, shaking, and crying, until calmed with a soothing voice of the director of SCOOTER's PLACE. Today, the nightmares have dramatically decreased, but still occur during noticeable rain and thunder storms. Due to the trauma of their beginnings and lives in New Orleans, both are being exhibited as a "241" special. Both have to be adopted together, due to the bond they forged in the "Katrina storm". Won't you give them a forever home?
