Monte is a Gypsy vanner mare. She is 14.3 hands high, stout, sound, gentle, about 8 years old, & in excellent health. She has been used by an adult for team roping, & by a youngster for barrels, poles, & general riding. She is a good trail riding horse. She has plenty of energy for an experienced rider, but will walk quietly for a child. This little mare ties, loads, hauls well, etc. She picks up her feet easily & loves to be brushed. We got her for my son when he was 6 yrs. old, but he is now 14 yrs, 6'2" tall, & prefers baseball, basketball, & football over horses. Dixie is for sale because she is just turned out on pasture here, but she still has a lot to offer a new owner. She is a great horse for all ages & levels of experience -- from beginner to advanced. She is a sweetheart. Price is negotiable. We want her to have a good, loving home.
